Mental Health Association Oklahoma is proud to present the 25th Annual Zarrow Mental Health Symposium. The Symposium is recognized as one of the premier behavioral health conferences in the United States.

We hope you join us October 3-4, 2019 in Tulsa, Oklahoma for this opportunity to connect with attendees from across the country to learn, network, and celebrate 25 years of mental health education.

Conference Theme

Resilience. Recovery. Rethink Mental Health. will examine the human capacity to thrive amid adversity. The two-day conference will provide participants with information and practical tools they can use in their professional practice, agencies, and communities.

This innovative and engaging event will include in-depth 60- and 90-minute sessions featuring knowledgeable speakers from across the country.

Presenters will address emerging research and knowledge, promising and best practices, innovative solutions, professional ethics, special projects, lessons learned, obstacles identified and overcome, and more.

Two-Day Registration – $265

Please note: Student and group discounts cannot be applied to Earliest Bird rates. All discounts will apply to Early Bird registration rates.

One Day Registration – $250

Registration Discounts

We offer group rates for groups of 5 or more! Groups of 5-9 receive a 10% discount and groups 10+ receive a 15% discount.

Group discounts apply to regular and Early Bird rates only and are not applicable to Earliest Bird rates. For more info, and to get your special discount code, contact JoBeth Hamon at 405-898-8704 or jhamon@mhaok.org.

Students receive a 30% student discount. To qualify for a student discount, you must be enrolled full-time (12 hours undergraduate; 6 hours graduate) and send your student ID and current course schedule.

Refund/Cancellation Policy

A complete refund for conference registration will be made only if written notification is made to Mental Health Association Oklahoma on or before September 7, 2019. There will be a $50 cancellation fee for all refunds requested after September 7.

No refunds will be granted for cancellations made after September 24. Registration fees are not transferable to future events.

Conference Hotel

The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Tulsa Downtown is located at 616 W. Seventh Street in downtown Tulsa, OK.

The DoubleTree is connected to the COX Business Center via sky bridge. A block of rooms is reserved for the Symposium with special rates for attendees. Rooms start at $110+tax/night, inclusive of in-room wi-fi, parking, and breakfast for up to 2 people. Reserve your room here.

Conference Venue

 

The COX Business Center features plentiful and comfortable meeting and exhibit space. For more information on the facility, please visit www.coxcentertulsa.com. Parking is available in the Civic Center parkade located just north of the COX Business Center on 3rd Street between Houston and Denver.

Getting to COX Business Center: For information on getting to COX Business Center by car, visit their website. If you are arriving by public transit, the Denver Avenue Transit Station is 2 blocks east of COX at 3rd and Denver. To access the best route to the conference, you can access Tulsa Transit’s Trip Planner.

Accessibility & General Venue Information

  • Registration will open in Spring 2019 on our website. If you cannot register online and need assistance, please contact JoBeth Hamon at 405-898-8704.

  • Handicap parking is available on the west side of the COX Business Center off Houston Avenue as well as in the Civic Center Parkade Garage. There is also a drop off lane at the corner of 3rd/Houston.

  • Assistance animals are welcome, and drinking water is available in each breakout room.

  • Gender neutral bathrooms will be provided, indicated by signage.

  • If you are  in need of an ASL interpreter or conference materials in additional formats, there is space on the registration form to indicate your needs. To guarantee that we can provide for your need, we must be notified at least 2 weeks in advance of the event.   • If you have any dietary restrictions, there is space on the registration form to indicate vegetarian/vegan or gluten free needs. Please contact JoBeth Hamon at jhamon@mhaok.org or 405-898-8704 if you have any other dietary restrictions and we will do our best to accommodate.
